Description

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to enhance participants' employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Task Execution: Contribute to departmental projects, perform routine operations, and support admin duties like documentation and reporting
• Learning & Development: Participate in training and mentorship, shadow professionals, and engage in analytical problem-solving
• Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with stakeholders, provide task updates, and act as a contact point for queries
• Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze data, create reports, and support process improvements
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies, uphold ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Matric certificate
• B Eng Tech/S4-S5 Completed all theoretical coursework in the following disciplines: Electronics/Electrical (Heavy Current)/Mechanical/ Civil/Industrial/Physical Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering
• Must be a South African citizen
• Age between 18- 35
• Preference will be given to People with Disability
• No bursary obligation with another company
• Proof of confirmation / letter from the institution (most recent)
• Proof of certified Matric certificate, Academic Record and ID
